Appointment Types

New Patient Office Visit: As a new patient, our physicians will get to know you as a whole person, determining the underlying root cause of your health concerns through an extensive health history and often a focused physical exam. It is also common to review any lab work that has been done in the past and order new labs as needed. Depending upon the complexity of the case, your first visit might conclude with a treatment plan and follow-up instructions, or it may be the first of a series of visits necessary for gathering all the relevant information that allows for a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan that’s suited specifically for you.

Follow-up Naturopathic Visit: Your follow-up visit[s] involves a detailed review of progress following the treatment plan. Any obstacles to adherence are discussed, and modifications are made according to changes in symptoms that may have taken place since the initial visit.

Will Insurance Cover My Visit?

An increasing number of insurance providers now cover naturopathic medical care and acupuncture. Click and fill out this Insurance Verification Sheet to find out exactly what benefits your insurance plan may offer and what your financial responsibility would be.

Benefits for alternative coverage may not always be detailed correctly online or in an insurance handbook. Therefore, we ask that patients use our form to call their insurance company so that they receive the most accurate information possible. This form is required for all new patients.

Payment/Cancellations

If you find your current insurance does not cover naturopathic treatment, Blossom Natural Health and Wellness does offer a non-billing discount (NBD) for patients who are paying out of pocket. Payment for services rendered is due at the time of service (We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal checks and cash). Treatment plans are available which may include regular monthly payments, helping some patients budget for their wellness care and achieve more optimal health.

Cancellations require at least 2 business days notice or a missed appointment charge may be applied.
